My how time has flown this year, it's been the most craziest time of my life this year, so many things have been happening, a lot of ups and downs, ended up immersing myself into Facebook Games (lol) to calm the crazies outta me!!!
Scrapbooking has been just about totally missing in action for me for the last 8 months (sadly) but for all of the above reasons, I just haven't been able to get my head in the right place for it. Time to change that. Still in for some incredibly busy months ahead as we prepare for the chaos we know as Christmas and then the mad crazy back to school organisation...Next January will be here before I know it, and I'm kind of in 2 places about that at the moment, my last bubby is off to Prep in January and I'm pretty darn excited about it...thinking of all those extra kid free scraphappy hours, but there is still that nagging lil sense of loss too, you mums out there will get what I mean!!!!
Although I've produced not a bloody thing for months on end, I've still been faithfully watching the scrap scene via the web, I have switched from using SCAL Sure Cuts A Lot to MTC Make The Cut, I gotta say, it's an absolutely awesome program!!! Still getting my braincells into gear and trying to work out different parts of that. Have recently been to the local scrap store and drooled all over the Cricut Imagine...kinda pretty darn impressed with that lil beauty, but hey, that'll be for another day for me anyhooo.
Anyhooo, I've managed to remember how to update my blog, make a post lol lol time for me to get to work and I look forward to getting some projects up on my blog again soon .... til then, take care and have fun
xo Kris

Little Robots .... My Mind's Eye
Howdy bloggers :) Hope you have all been keeping well!!!
I was totally delighted to create a page for Arnolds Scrapbooking Warehouse at Rothwell recently with their gorgeous new paper ranges that are flooding into the store at the moment.
I was given some of the Little Robots Range to work with, and have used a photo of my son when he was just a wee little lad of 3 years helping his Grandpa in the "Shed" lol lol . This little raggamuffin of mine is a deadset real boy's boy... he loves tools, not kiddie versions but the real deal (needless to say I drew the line at the talk of chainsaws and anything with revolving blades OMFG as if!!!), he's been taught from a very young age how to use things around the workshop and yard tools with his Dad & Grandpa... the joys of being the only boy I suppose lol.

Anyhooo....this is the page ... thanks for looking and if you are ever out this way pop on in & see Karen and the girls and have a gander at all the gorgeous new products fresh in from CHA :) ahhhh Bliss!!!!
Okay well I'm off now to have a play with these gorgeous new Prima products .... back soon with pics :)
Have a great weekend, stay safe, especially all you guys n gals out in the flooded areas of Queensland :)
Thanks for looking!! xo Kris

It's the Climb - layout

This is a layout I completed whilst attending the Saturday Day Crop at Arnolds Scrapbooking Warehouse at Redcliffe, Qld.
It's The Climb....is Amy who was clearly sooooooo delighted with her efforts of climbing all the way to the top of the fort at Petrie Park last year...without any help from Mum or Dad lol so hard to let go some times... especially when the chance of them falling is there :( but we did it and stepped back and let her go for it and she beamed when she got to the top!!!!
That's my girl :) xo
Papers are from Bo Bunny...such gorgeous beautiful thick doublesided papers to work with
Bazill Cardstock - Cream
Bazill Cardstock - Purple
Chipboard Butterflies
Cherry Blossom Flowers (my own stash)
Maple Leaves - multiple colours (my own stash)
The font on this page is Hobo Std...see the last post regarding a link to this font...it works beautifully on SCAL.
Thanks for looking....have a great day, enjoy the rest of your weekend xoxox Kris

Finally I can share a layout....
I can actually share one of my recent layouts with you now, Jo & I had the pleasure of some very lovely ladies for our class today. I always love seeing how different their layouts turn out, by using their own gorgeous photographs, it never ceases to amaze me actually.
Had a fabulous time and can't wait to do it again next fortnight, when the ladies will be doing one of Joanne's gorgeous layouts.

Catch you all again soon! Take care and have an awesome weekend, stay safe :) xo Kris

Scrapping....I have actually been doing something somewhat constructive...
Hmm it would appear that I've not been doing much of anything lately....got slightly sidetracked with my Copics and card making but always on the front burner is my love for scrapbooking.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to share any of my projects as such because they are for upcoming classes... However here is a tiny lil sneak peak of an upcoming class for February/March that I've been working on recently.

Hopefully I'll be able to get some of my "own" stuff done again soon and share :) Til then take care and have a great weekend xo Kris
