It is now Friday evening, and it is absolutely bucketing down here in Redcliffe, Qld.....  they seriously were not joking when they warned of torrential rainfalls this weekend :(

I'm already over it and pretty much every umbrella in this house was broken from the last "torrential downpouring" so thought I might just have to make one instead lol

A moment to say THANKYOU and then.....I miss the Sunshine..... already.....

Just a quick message to say a HUGE THANKS to all of my wonderful friends & family and Facebook buddies for all of their wonderful Birthday Wishes yesterday.  I had a fantastic day spent quietly at home, got surprised not once, but twice by my hubby (those that know me well, know it's not often I get surprised) cos nobody in this house can keep secrets usually!  Woke up to a lovely card & flowers and he came home from work last night with a gorgeous new pair of Gold Earrings that I had been wanting for oh sooooo long &  more reading matter for me woohoooo.  He has redeemed himself into my good graces for another whole year now lol lol.

Now onto today's post....it's just a quick one lol

Only been 1 day of rain and already I miss the sunshine......so I made some instead :)

The Nightmare that IS PROVOCRAFT....yup, they're at it again!!

I'm not that great with words, I have lots of them in my head at most times....but generally when I try to say what I want to say on a screen, it just doesn't come out very nicely or very politely....so since I really have NOT ONE SINGLE NICE THING to say about the MORONS that are PROVOCRAFT.

I'm going to share a link to another blogger's great post about this latest issue of them taking legal proceedings against the owners of Make The Cut for a 2nd time....please take the time to have a read, and think about whether or not YOU can stomach the thought of supporting a PARASITIC COMPANY next time you go shopping for crafting goods.   I personally vowed when they first went after MTC and then SCAL last year, that I would NEVER buy another PC item ever again.

I did sell my cutter at a massive monetary loss, and shelled out almost a thousand bucks for a new Cougar....still....I say, it's the best damn thing I have ever done!  I refuse to be dictated to by ANY company about a product I BUY and HOW I am allowed to use it in my own goddamn home!

Another Owl to share :) ..... Cutie Owl

Well I have spent the better part of my "kid free" hours playing around with Make The Cut....was admiring a cute owl on my daughter's nightie, so decided to have a go at making a paper piecing.... cos it was soooo cute.
