Ava's Rule

Ava had been found in her parents’ car, parked in the sun. She had snuck in looking for lollies and found herself in the back seat, with child locks on. She was 3 years old and did not realise that if she moved into the front, those doors would open. She never re-gained consciousness and died a few days later.

Her parents have dedicated themselves to spreading the word about Ava’s rule:

Always lock your car and store your keys where your children cannot reach them.

Verify your children know never to go to the car unsupervised.

Actively seek out sheltered locations to park your car.

Keep Safe :)

Flowers from a dear friend....

So I love flowers....they make me extraordinarily happy!! So I could not have been happier to find these little beauties gracing my letterbox last week....Martina you are entirely too clever chick, and I thank you for your gorgeous gift of blooms :) I love them.... so glad you included so many for me to make & assemble lol ... burnt fingers here I come lol lol

So I did a tiny wee bit of shopping this week lol Bought some gorgeous Prima Papers, a few gorgeous kits from DLish Kits and oh lets just not mention what other things i've bought lol lol.

Anyhoo have had this photograph of Miss Amy sitting here looking at me for a few weeks now, so decided to play with one of my fave colours.....A dash of HOT PINK :) woohoo



Okay, so I've used part of the Vintage Rose Pack - Hot Pink - from D-lishKits uber gorgeous... Prima "Flirty Little Secret" Paper, Gorgeous HotPink Pearl Strand from Spotlight (thankyou Tina mwah!), Lace hand dyed Pink, SCAL Files: SPRING TIME and BLISS title and Coredinations Whitewash CS and Bingo Card.

Another card...

Started this one last night when I was in the mood to play with messy inks (mwahahaha love em) finished it off this morning, but as it was crazy grocery shopping day today, haven't had a chance to snag a pic and load it up until now, so here is the 2nd Vintage Style Card I've created. Vintage Cards totally Rock!!!

Well I think I must say I have found a whole new love!!! I hate card making....don't get me wrong now....I totally love the whole idea of making cards, but man I really suck at it most days, so today whilst browsing thru some online catalogues I got my very first glimpse ever of a "vintage style" card, couldn't see too much of the details but something happened, made my lil ole heart go hot diggity dog, I sooooo have to jump on into some of that! So out came the cardstock, the distress ink omg I love that stuff hehe and some vintage old book that I bought for a song last week and voila....We have one lovely card that I actually quite adore!!!


Now, this lil sweetie is going on a trip.... in a hot stuffy envelope.... any day now.... I wonder where it is going to go to????? sorry can't say...it's a secret!! lol Have a great day/evening!
